Contingency Planning for Fundraising
Fundraising plans are critical to non-profit organizations. However, given the current COVID 19 pandemic we may need to rethink those plans. While the future is uncertain, nonprofit organizations can still be strategic and thoughtful in their approach to fundraising. How can global nonprofits be nimble in this ever-changing environment? How do we shift gears to set and achieve funding goals? How should we plan for the summer and fall 2020? Should nonprofit organizations cut back on programs now in anticipation of a funding shortfall?
Please join Global Washington and Pamela Oaks, Managing Director of The Profitable Nonprofit for a discussion on contingency planning in fundraising. Pamela does not have a crystal ball, but will offer tips and tactics to help nonprofits pivot and remain flexible in a time of crisis. Pamela is an international fund development consultant, previous grant maker with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and has worked successfully with organizations, nonprofits, foundations, universities, government and community organizations around the world. Her passion is to equip nonprofits with the tools and resources to achieve financial sustainability. Please join us for this timely conversation.
