Overview of the CARES Act and Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)
Event Description
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) is now providing nearly $2 trillion to individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations. Several non-profit organizations have already applied for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) or are in process. Now what? How should a non-profit organization manage the loan once it’s received? What are the restrictions around use of funds? What do you need to know in order to get loan forgiveness? What other tax related provisions are available for non-profit organizations?
