The 2018 annual conference celebrated Global Washington’s tenth anniversary and discussed what we want the world to look like in the next decade. From the refugee crisis to global health, food security to climate change, we explored the underlying root causes of poverty, disease, injustice, and inequality, while seeking to advance promising solutions that are working globally.
We also launched an initiative called “Next 10 Global,” focused on ten goals from the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to catalyze collective impact over the next decade. GlobalWA members are leading change all over the world, and if we work together, we believe that a more connected Global Washington can usher in the best version of the future we all want to see.
