We have developed a mobile savings model that allows farmers to invest their own funds in high-quality seed, fertilizer, and agricultural training to increase their harvest and income by 50-100%. About the Role:
In this highly rewarding role, you will support myAgro’s Innovations team as they test and scale new farmer engagement models and business approaches. You will carry out in-depth analysis of innovation experiments and initiatives, translating data into clear insights for decision-makers. You will design reports and dashboards that help innovation teams move faster and validate what’s working. Finally, you will help build data literacy within the Innovations team so they can self-serve insights on their own.
You Will:
- Partner with innovation teams to operationalize hypotheses into measurable experiments
- Deliver actionable data insights that drive innovation decisions
- Conduct data validation work to reconcile field collection with system data
- Design user-centered reports and dashboards
- Create comparative analysis across parallel experiments to identify patterns, contradictions, and replicable tactics
- Present experiment results to cross-functional audiences with varying data literacy
- Help build data literacy and know-how within the Innovations team
- Maintain tight feedback loops between the Innovations team and the Data team
You Have:
- 2+ years experience working in data analytics, research, operations or similar.
- Solid foundation in data analysis and SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Demonstrated work experience in agriculture in rural areas, and project design and management.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills: You are a strong oral and written communicator; you are comfortable working with a diverse and distributed team.
- Strong quantitative and computer skills: You are comfortable finding available solutions that fulfills your business goal. You enjoy the challenge of learning new software and finding the story behind a set of numbers or data.
- Exceptional project management: You thrive in managing multiple ongoing projects and prioritizing goals. You problem-solve for both big picture challenges and day-to-day issues
- Familiarity with Tableau, Metabase, or other BI tools.
