The Future of Foreign Aid: An Afternoon with Pangea Giving
Event Description
Join fellow Pangea Giving members—now a program of Global Washington—for a meaningful evening of connection, dialogue, and shared purpose.
Our featured guest speaker, Dr. James Pfeiffer, Professor of Global Health and Anthropology at the University of Washington, will draw from his extensive experience with USAID to explore the evolution of U.S. foreign assistance, how aid is delivered today, and ideas for rethinking the role of governments in global development. He’ll also examine how these shifts are impacting our local partners around the world.
Enjoy updates from Pangea Pod Chairs on the work of our partners in the field, and connect with fellow members. Food and drinks will be provided.
