Q4 Final Mile – COVID Vaccine Distribution to Lower and Middle Income Countries (LMICs)
Event Description
In the last Final Meeting we focused on the incredible work being done in the US by global health professionals who have applied their expertise to health care supply chain needs in our own communities. With the understanding that our local efforts remain unfinished, we are turning our focus back to our global work. With the news of third stage COVID vaccine trials coming to a successful close for Pfizer, Moderna, and Oxford/AstaZenica, the logistics of worldwide distribution is a paramount concern. Our Q4 Final Mile panel will discuss a range of issues that complicate successful vaccine distribution to lower resource countries.
