Q1 Final Mile: World Central Kitchen


Event Description

As we approach the one year anniversary of Ukraine’s defiance of the Russian military offensive, we are fortunate to hear from an amazing team working tirelessly in country for our Q1 Final Mile meeting. World Central Kitchen was started in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria by chef Jose Andres to provide meals to the residents uprooted in Puerto Rico. The story was captured by the NatGeo documentary “We Feed People” now viewable on Disney+. WCK has continued its mission in the US and globally with large operations in major cities and in the front lines in the Ukraine. The impact of WCK service cannot be understated for any crisis they have responded to.
