US Foreign Policy, Washington State, and the Road Ahead

This virtual panel brings together Representative Adam Smith, along with other WA-based policy experts, for a conversation on the current state of US foreign policy and what it means for Washington State. Panelists will discuss how national policy shifts are affecting our state’s export, tech, and global development sectors, and what pathways exist for community members and organizations who want to stay engaged on these issues.

The panel also marks a meaningful moment for GlobalWA — one of our final public convenings as we conclude our work later this year. We hope it leaves attendees with a clearer picture of where US global engagement stands today and how our community can continue to advocate for the values that have defined this organization.
