The Fast Pitch at Global Washington’s Goalmakers Conference in-person day on December 4, 2024, is an opportunity for GlobalWA members to introduce themselves and their organizations to new people and to inspire greater support for their work across the GlobalWA network through a two-minute on-stage presentation “Fast Pitch.”

About This Year’s Topic

The theme of our conference this year is Advancing Social Impact in a Rapidly Changing World.

Today’s geopolitical climate is shifting every day, and the literal climate is changing faster that predictions can keep up. Refugee numbers are at an all-time high, and livelihoods are being threatened by resource depletion. 

Despite the challenges we face in a rapidly changing world, we see communities thrive, innovations changing the narrative, and technology helping in new and exciting ways. We will examine how organizations are responding to rapid change and provide new insights on how to adapt.
