We are NPH USA, a non-profit which supports Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH, Spanish for “Our Little Brothers and Sisters”), is fully supporting nearly 3,100 boys and girls in Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Peru. An additional 3,200 community children receive scholarships, meals, healthcare, and other support. More than 114,000 services were provided through community outreach programs in 2018. Our USA headquarters is in Chicago, IL (loop) and you can learn more about us at http://nphusa.org

Based in Bellevue, WA – in this position, you will establish relationships with new donors to secure annual donations between $1,000 -$10,000 or more. You will manage a portfolio of approximately 200 prospects/donors and visit many of them throughout the year. Using your belief in our mission and your influence in fundraising activities as well as provide opportunities for stewarding donors. Along with the Regional Director you will develop cultivation strategies for donors and participate in all aspects of the gift cycle. Keeping in mind your annual fundraising target.

This position will be ideal for you, if you have:

  • Two or more years’ experience in annual or major gifts solicitation and portfolio management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; ability to influence and engage volunteers and donors
  • Strong organizational skills
  • The ability to work independently without close oversight, but also a team player
  • A Bachelor’s degree (required), Master’s preferred
  • International experience preferred
  • Are willing to travel throughout the region
  • High energy and passion for NPH USA’s mission is essential
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • A professional and resourceful style; take initiative, and can manage multiple tasks and projects at a time
