Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands (PPGNHI) is seeking to fill the position of Chief Learning Officer (CLO).

This is a full-time position.

The Chief Learning Officer partners with strategy team members to develop the PPGNHI strategic plan and lead initiatives. This role leads the strategic planning, vision, and goals for the Education and Global Programs; manages grants & internal budgets; partners with Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and other national organizations to advance the work of PPGNHI and share best practices.

Requirements for the position:

Minimum of ten years of experience in teaching/training

Minimum of seven years of leadership/management experience

Minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience

Demonstrated ability to provide strategic direction

Major responsibilities:

Partners closely with other strategy team members to make decisions and lead initiatives that ensure that PPGNHI thrives and provides national leadership and innovation.

Participates in Board of Director meetings and ensures they are informed about departmental activities, strategies, and directions.

Leads strategic planning, visions, and goals for Education and Global Programs; develops innovative programs, ensures successful implementation.

Oversees the Peer Education Institute (PEI) to ensure that the Teen Council Program is implemented with fidelity across the country.

Works with the VP of Development to create strategy related to grants, foundations and donors to ensure adequate funding for Education programs.

Participates in national training events, presents leadership, training and education sessions at regional and national conferences, participates in professional organizations related to Education and Global Programs.

Travel:

Occasional travel throughout the region and nationally.

Supervises Director of Education, VP of Education, and other department staff as needed.
