Engineers Without Borders Puget Sound Professional Chapter: Engineers Without Borders (EWB) is a non-profit organization established in 2000 to partner with developing communities worldwide in order to improve their quality of life. Etta Projects: Etta Projects is a grass roots relief organization, administratively based in Washington State and working on the ground to alleviate extreme poverty in Bolivia. Now in our 9th year, our focus is on attainable, sustainable results that make a lasting impact on poverty. Our organization partners with local municipalities and other international organizations, such as Engineers Without Borders. Jet City Stove Works: Jet City Stove Works goal is to create an affordable, non-carbon burning stove that uses the seed of the Jatrophe plant, which is found throughout Africa and other areas in the Southern hemisphere. Kabissa – Space for Change in Africa: Kabissa (our name means completely in kiswahili) is a volunteer-led non-governmental organization founded in 1999.
