Organization Description

Highline is a comprehensive community college, providing open access to adults for education and training opportunities. The College has a strong emphasis on global/international activities, including serving a large number of international students, offering study abroad programs, faculty exchanges and development work. The College also houses the Center of Excellence for International Trade.

Example Project

One of our development projects, using USAID funds, piloted a program targeting employment for the disabled in South Africa. Our project created a partnership among major insurance companies as employers, a college for the demand driven training, non-profits that serve the disabled to identify and support the students entry to the program, and the national and provincial governments.
